At Shekhinah International we believe in the biblical principles of tithing and giving. Below you will find the different types of giving we believe in and practice along with scripture references. Additionally, we do not believe in forcing or pressuring anyone to give financially as that is a personal choice. However each individual may give what is in his/her heart.

Malachi 3:10-12: Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.

Matthew 6:19: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

Proverbs 19:17: Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.

Romans 10:15: And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Proverbs 3:9-10: Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
